ABOUT ANNA

Anna makes comics, paintings, and hand painted/hand sewn apparel. She is also a mom, and her life is her art. Anna's paintings focus on ordinary small things, portraits of people in everyday moments and self portraits of her own changing face and body through motherhood and the postpartum experience. Her comics are mostly autobiographical-- about grief, loss, cancer, medical experiences, parenting, love, friendship. Anna's one-of-a-kind pieces in Lev ArtWare are wearable, functional art that is for everyone; a way to express on the outside who we are on the inside.
